"Diana Memorial Playground" in Kensington Gardens.
This playground was inspired by Peter Pan stories. But the Peter Pan children's playground was founded, in the time of J.M Barrie (the author of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens).
It opened in June 2000 in the same park, as a memorial to Diana, Princess of Wales, and her love and work for children. With the spirit of the imaginary world and reminding you of the innocence of childhood, it's bigger and more sophisticated than the original.
The design of the playground was created to provide
social and educative development and creativity for our children. But
most important...Have Fun!
At the entrance is the famous "Elfin Oak" tree with its magical creatures in it. We always love to stop by this charming elves in their old tree, like a refuge and taking care of.

Inside, there is a wooden pirate ship for climbing and playing pirates and is surrounded by sand. There are also, slides, swings, and an area designed for those with disabilities. A wooden xylophone, bells ...We are surrounded by plants and sound features to stimulate children's imagination and their sense of adventure.

Even though it's a large playground, I still feel safe to bring children there. You might get lost at first, but you always find each other and there's security all around.
There's a snack bar at the entrance. Half of it is inside the park, and the other part, outside. Separated by this strong metallic fence so your child can't leave the park on his own, but you still can buy something to drink. It offers security and the peace of mind for the parents.
So, the children can learn, play and set their imagination free...
