About

D. M. Jammes was born on 08th December 1989 in France, where she grew up with one older brother, in a peaceful town, on the west coast of France.

Her mother was a childminder for many years, and her father was firefighter.

The young "Dodo" grew up with books all around. From a young age, she spent hours at the local library, looking at the diversity of stories that could exist. She helped the librarians in the classification of the books. Among these books, she thought about becoming a librarian and living in London, her dream...

At the age of 15, she started working as a babysitter and worked in schools/daycares as a training job.

She started with a Professional A-Level in Social care at the age of 17. After secondary school, she decided to leave France to accomplish her dream in London. To this day, she dedicates all her training to childcare, and she studies new research.

She has been a Professional Childcare Provider and an Activity Leader for over 15 years. But has never forgotten her love for the libraries. She always tries to get, the children she is looking after, curious, and lose track of time in these magical places.

She has started to write for young readers and who are young at heart. To help parents and to support them in the education of their children.

She lives in London, where she is still practising and teaches French.

For those who are still young at heart...
